The Georgia Ballet Continues a Holiday
Tradition With The Nutcracker 

With lavish costuming and scenery, The Georgia Ballet’s production of  The Nutcracker December 15th-17th is a metro Atlanta family tradition.  This perennial holiday favorite filled with toy-soldiers, waltzing snowflakes, a growing Christmas tree, and a very magical dream will enchant audiences young and old alike.  

Follow Clara and her Nutcracker as they battle the evil Mouse King, then travel through the snow to the magical Kingdom of the Sweets.  This holiday celebration, with a cast of over 140 dancers, is a real sweet treat!

Performances times are:

· Friday, December 15th at 7 p.m.

· Saturday, December 16th at 2 p.m., and 7 p.m.

· Sunday, December 17th at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Tickets:  Now on sale and available online at www.georgiaballet.org  or by phone at 770-528-0881.  Ticket prices range from $23-$32 with discounts available for students,  seniors  and groups.  Rush tickets are available for college students with valid ID one hour prior to shows, when available.   All performances will be held at the Cobb County Civic Center’s Anderson Theatre located at 548 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Georgia Ballet,  comprised of a professional dance company and a dance school, was founded in 1960.  The Georgia Ballet’s mission is to promote excellence in ballet performance and training,  foster an increased public awareness and appreciation for dance,  and provide dedicated and talented dancers with the opportunity for advanced level training and professional performance venues.
